Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ¼ cup tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons sofrito sauce
- 1 (.18 ounce) packet sazon seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups cooked pinto beans, drained
- 1 ½ cups water
- salt to taste
Steps
- Heat olive oil in a saucepan over low heat. Add tomato sauce, sofrito, sazon, and pepper. Cook, stirring, for about 3 minutes. Stir in beans, water, and salt. Increase heat to medium and cook until sauce is thickened, about 15 minutes.
